Making Policy Changes
SCM is fully staffed and available to request needed changes to your policy. This includes mid-term exposure changes for auto fleets or payroll and revenue projections. Our goal is to help you through these difficult times, and we will work with our carrier partners to quickly process carrier-approved changes that can help reduce ongoing expenses. Allianz - Allianz offers multiple payment methods (direct checks, wire or ACH) for those challenged by an interruption to their business. To this end, Allianz will be suspending cancellations for non-payment until June 1, 2020, and will not be assessing late fees for premiums due on or before June 1, 2020. It is hoped that this grace period will give customers the breathing room they need to weather this crisis.

Berkshire Hathaway - Amendment of direct bill cancellation procedures – March 23
CompStar - CompStar is committed to being flexible in every way possible in order to assure that workers’ compensation clients are retained with Benchmark Insurance Company and that insureds are not cancelled for non-payment of premium. If a client is unable to make a payment, CompStar will consider allowing the payment to be deferred to audit time at policy expiration. They are willing to accept monthly payroll reports without a premium payment, and if this occurs, CompStar will contact clients to work out a plan for future payment. They will also consider waiving their deposit for both new and renewal accounts.

Liberty Mutual - Liberty Mutual is working with customers that have received recent notices of cancellation in March to push out the amount that is due and keep their policy in-force. That said, notices of cancellation will still go out as it is a system automated process.
